One year after the tragic death of Vince (of which we talked here), Thoiry Zoo welcomed on 25 Jan 2018 a new rhino, named Unesco.

He came from Peaugres (FR) and he’s the second calf for mum Duma and bull Samson.

He will soon meet the other two rhinos residing here, Gracie (37 years old) and Bruno (5 years old).

The old matriarch Gracie will help the two young boys to know each other and form a bond.
