In less than a year Beauval (FR) welcomed 3 healthy baby rhinos!

This time is the turn of a female white one, born on 18 November, during the early hours of the morning. She is the first calf for mum Mafunyane, who came in Beauval in march 2013 from Montpellier (FR) , where she showed irregular cycle and was not able to breed. In the same period, Montpellier welcomed the female Malelane who had the same problem in Beauval.

Back in September 2016 Beauval welcomed another rhino:  Indian Rhino Henna, just 6 years old, welcomed her first calf, Gainda. We talk about him here and here!

And in December 2015, the other female White Rhino, Satara, welcomed her third healthy calf, a male named Hawii. The new little lady and Hawii are half-siblings, as they share the same father: experienced Bull Smoske.
