On 26 December 2016 a baby white rhino female was born in Lower Saxony (DE). She is the second baby rhino welcomed in 2016 by Hodenhagen, as her half-brother, Akono (we talk about him here), was born back in September.

The little female, that weighted 30 kilos at birth, was named Moana and is Kianga’s second baby.

Her elder sister, Tatu, was born in 2013 and left in September for Altina, in Australia (we talk about her here).

Martin, 23 years old, is the sire of all three youngsters.
