Two Southern White Rhinos, Amadou and Tayo, are moving from their current home in Salzburg (DE) to their new host, Bursa Zoo (TR).

They are half-brothers, because they share the same dad: Athos. Amadou is 3 years old while Tayo will be soon. They have been familiarizing with they transport crate for the last three weeks.

The transfer destination was suggested by EEP, and alongside them another White Rhino bull will be send to Bursa. Since rhinos reach sexual maturity around 7 years old, Turkey will be a sort of temporary home, from where they will depart to reach suitable females once the age is reached.
