We report that back in June/July 2016 a baby Indian Rhino calf was born at Al Bustan (United Arab Emirates)!

He is a male, is healthy and has been called Newari.

He is mum Asha and dad Giirja’s first calf, following the birth in 2013 of Thulie (who does not share the same father).
